Your music. Your voice. Your rules.
01What we collect
Account. Your e-mail address and authentication identifiers (including Google Sign-In, if you use it). We never see or store your Google password.
Your creations. Prompts, titles, lyrics, generated audio, cover artwork and settings you choose (style, vocals, language). These are stored so your library syncs between the Android app and the web studio.
Voice enrollment (optional). If you set up MY VOICE, we process your recordings to build a private voice profile used only to sing on your own tracks.
Usage & device basics. Generation counts, credit balance, subscription status (via Google Play), crash and performance data — the minimum needed to run the service and fix problems.
02What we never do
- We don't sell your personal data. Ever.
- We don't use your voice recordings to train models for other users or to synthesize anyone else's voice.
- We don't publish your tracks anywhere unless you share them yourself (Reels, DMs or exported files).
- We don't read your private messages beyond what is technically required to deliver them.
03Copyright protection, built in
Octa is designed to keep you on the right side of copyright:
- Protected-work screening. When you use Cover mode with a reference, the result is checked against protected recordings before delivery. If a match is detected, the track is blocked and your credit is automatically refunded.
- Artist protection. Octa does not imitate identifiable artists' voices. Voice cloning works only with your own enrolled voice, on your own account.
- Takedowns. Rights holder? Send notices to contact@octaverum.com — we review and act promptly.
Your ownership. Songs you generate from your own prompts and lyrics are yours to use, including commercially, under the app's terms. We recommend labelling AI-generated music as such where platforms require it.
04Voice cloning & consent
MY VOICE is strictly consent-based: you record the enrollment phrases yourself, in the app, on your own account. The resulting voice profile is bound to your account, is never shared with other users, and is never used outside the songs you create. Delete it any time from the app — deletion removes the profile from our systems.
Uploading someone else's voice for enrollment violates our terms and will result in removal.
05Where your data lives
Accounts and libraries are stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase) and audio is processed on our own rendering servers in the EU. Payments and subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play — we never see your card details. Infrastructure partners process data solely on our instructions.
06Your rights
- Access & portability — request a copy of your data and creations.
- Correction — fix inaccurate account information.
- Deletion — delete individual tracks in-app, your voice profile in-app, or your entire account by contacting us; deletion is permanent.
- Objection & restriction — object to specific processing where the law provides it (GDPR/KVKK).
- Complaint — you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any right, write to contact@octaverum.com from your account e-mail. We respond within 30 days.
07Retention & children
Your library is kept for as long as your account exists. Failed or blocked generations are not kept as audio. Diagnostic logs are short-lived. Octa is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country); we delete underage accounts when identified.
08Changes & contact
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll tell you in the app or by e-mail before the change takes effect. Questions, requests, notices: contact@octaverum.com.
