Questions, answered.
Everything about credits, covers, your voice and your library — straight answers about how Octa actually works.
Octa is a complete AI music studio for Android and the web. You describe a song — or paste your own lyrics — and the Octa engine composes, produces, sings and masters a full track with cover artwork, usually in about a minute. There's also a community feed (OctaReels), direct messages where friends can play your tracks in-chat, covers, track extension and voice cloning.
Yes — you can generate your first track without a card. After that, generations come from your plan's monthly track limit or from track packs you've bought. Your remaining balance is always visible at the top of the web studio and in the app.
One track = one credit, whether it's a generation, a cover or an extension. Credits come from your subscription's monthly limit first, then from any track packs. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is refunded automatically — you never pay for silence.
Typically around a minute for a full track with vocals, mixing, mastering and artwork. You can watch live progress on the engine indicator — and the finished song appears in your library on every device at once.
Cover mode reimagines a reference track in a new style. Before delivery, every cover is screened against protected recordings. If your reference turns out to be copyright-protected, the render is blocked and your credit is refunded automatically. This keeps you safe and keeps rights holders protected.
Yes — MY VOICE takes a few minutes of guided recording in the app and builds a private voice profile that can sing any song you generate, in five languages. It's bound to your account only: nobody else can use your voice, and you can delete the profile at any time.
Extend continues an existing track from any second you choose — pick the exact moment on the timeline, describe where the music should go ("raise the energy, add a second drop") and the engine writes the continuation so it lands back in your library as a new, longer piece.
Yes — it's one account, one library. Generate on your phone and it's on the web studio when you open it; generate on your PC and it's on your phone. Sign in with the same e-mail (or the same Google account) everywhere.
Songs generated from your own prompts and lyrics are yours to use under the app's terms — including on streaming, YouTube and social platforms. We recommend labelling tracks as AI-generated where a platform requires disclosure. Covers of protected works are blocked by design, so what reaches your library is yours to publish.
Share a generated track from the app (a visualized clip with your song) and you earn +2 free generations — once per share, with fair-use protections. It's our way of saying thanks for showing Octa around.
Tracks: delete from the library. Voice profile: delete from MY VOICE settings — removal is permanent. Full account deletion: write to contact@octaverum.com from your account e-mail and we'll erase everything, permanently.
E-mail contact@octaverum.com with your account e-mail and (if it's about a specific track) the track title and rough time it was generated. We usually respond within a day.
